Clean-Up Downtown Day - September 23

Downtown is the “living room” for the whole county, so it's up to all of us to keep it clean, not just for our visitors, but for the many locals who enjoy Downtown Asheville.

The Asheville Downtown Association is sponsoring the next Clean Up Downtown Day on Friday, September 23. Volunteers should meet at 8:30am in Pritchard Park for coffee and doughnuts and to join teams. People who live, work or just enjoy downtown are asked to join with friends and neighbors to help spruce things up.  With gloves, brooms, trowels and dust pans, we’ll work for several hours to rid our city that we love so much, of trash and litter, cigarette butts, weeds growing in landscaping, old flyers and other unsightly things.  Call 251-9973 for more information or just show up.
