We asked candidates for City of Asheville Mayor and Asheville City Council to answer questions regarding the top issues identified by downtown businesses and residents. We focused on Mayor and Council for the primary because their actions tend to most impact downtown. In the future, we hope to expand our questionnaire and forums to include candidates for other offices as well.
**It was difficult to find contact information for some campaigns. It is important to us that all candidates have the opportunity to respond to our questionnaire and we will add responses as they are sent to us.
