From ADA Member Asheville Wellness Tours:

Amid new restrictions on local businesses’ operating abilities and continued surges in COVID 19 cases across Western NC, we at Asheville Wellness Tours would like to introduce… Virtual/Hybrid Retreats!

We’ve adapted and added extensively to our local tour offerings, and are entering 2021 with new and improved “COVID Edition” Socially-Distanced and/or Virtual Tour Options!

We see it as doubly important for folks to have access to health and wellness activities given the current circumstances. Since their release, our Virtual and Hybrid (outdoors + virtual) retreat options have been popular with seekers… from companies looking to connect their separated teams, families/couples/pandemic pods yearning for a unique experience, and solo adventurers looking for a way to dive deeper/access introspection. We’ve connected families that otherwise would not have been able to spend quality time with one another. We’ve supported businesses looking to reinvent their corporate retreat options (most notably: Spotify, Salesforce, and Tiffany & Co.!) And, as always, we’ve emphasized the importance of wellness, in a lighthearted, fun, and accessible way.

Yoga Hikes. Sunset, Morning, and Afternoon hikes are available YEAR ROUND! These yoga hikes are such an incredible way to relax into the wisdom and beauty of the Blue Ridge.

Forest Bathing. In light of current circumstances, any forest bathing experience you book with us will be set aside exclusively for you and your group…even if you’re a solo adventurer! Enjoy a unique way to practice self care and social distancing. Virtual/Online Forest Bathing is also available.

Tarot Card Readings! a great opportunity to bond with friends, family, or your coworkers. Individuals, couples, families and friends can book for an intimate and unique shared experience, or a group reading is a great bonding opportunity for leadership teams. This can also be done virtually via.

Additional Virtual Offerings:

Unique Meditation Sessions: styles of meditation include Sound Journeys, Tea Meditation, and Instinctive Meditation. Sound and Instinctive are both available virtually.

Private Yoga Classes: balance long days of sitting and support focus and engagement with your choice of full movement classes, or mini “move where you are” practices as an add-on in between other sessions (as a part of our Hybrid Tours- see below).

Virtual Cooking Class: These classes last one hour and center around a simpler menu to avoid “zoom fatigue” and leave plenty of time for you all to enjoy your meal together virtually afterwards. After crafting your menu directly with the chef, you will receive an ingredients list and recipe in advance of the class. We’ll see you online!

Hybrid Tours

Participants can book combining virtual and outdoor experiences, to optimize fun & safety. For example:

  • AM (socially distanced) Yoga Hike + PM Virtual Tarot Reading or Cooking Class !
  • Virtual Group Guided Meditation + Sunset Yoga Hike
Virtual Yoga Class + Forest Bathing Stroll

You get the idea… the pairing choices are YOURS!

Don’t just take it from us. Here’s a recent review from a family who crafted their own Hybrid Retreat with us:

“Amazing team and made our trip memorable! I reached out to Caitlin a few weeks before our trip. Even during this pandemic we were able to enjoy socially distanced activities that made our trip unforgettable! It was a small family trip to celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday. We did a virtual cooking class that was fantastic with yummy local rainbow trout, a yoga hike with a personal tour guide and a virtual tarot card reading. Aside from the personalized activities, Caitlin was an excellent resource for a local florist (Carolina flowers was amazing), bakery (Short street bakery also amazing) and restaurant recommendations. She and her team were so kind and accessible. I even got a hold of them on a Sunday evening about a question. I highly recommend reaching out to this group when you come to visit Asheville. You will not regret it!”
